ParcelVision ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the ParcelVision mobile application.

Information We Collect

Property Data

When you search for a property, we send the address to the Realie API to retrieve parcel boundary data. This data is then stored locally on your device.

Location Data

ParcelVision requires access to your device's GPS to position property boundaries accurately in augmented reality. Your location data is processed entirely on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Device Information

We collect hashed device identifiers solely for purchase verification purposes. This helps us validate that property purchases are legitimate.

Tags and Landmarks

Any tags or landmarks you create (such as fence posts, trees, or buildings) are stored locally on your device only. These are never uploaded to our servers.

                Privacy by Design: All property data, tags, and purchase records are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain user accounts, location history, or server-side property storage.
            

How We Use Your Information

Retrieve property boundary data for addresses you search
Verify in-app purchases through the App Store
Display AR visualizations of property boundaries
Enable landmark tagging with GPS coordinates

Data Storage and Security

All sensitive data stored on your device is encrypted using AES-256 encryption. We do not store your data on external servers. When you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is automatically deleted.

Third-Party Services

ParcelVision integrates with the following third-party services:

Realie API — Provides property boundary data
Apple App Store — Processes payments
Mapbox — Provides mapping and location services

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share information:

With your explicit consent
When required by law or legal process
To protect our rights or the safety of users

Your Rights and Choices

Location Access: You can disable location access in your device settings at any time. Note that this will prevent the AR features from functioning.
Data Deletion: All app data is deleted when you uninstall ParcelVision.
Data Export: You can export your property data as .parcel files at any time through the app.

Children's Privacy

ParcelVision is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
