How accurate are the property boundaries?

ParcelVision displays boundary data sourced from public records. While we strive for accuracy, boundaries shown are for reference only and may not reflect recent changes, subdivisions, or corrections. For legal or official purposes, always consult a licensed land surveyor.

Why does the app need my location?

ParcelVision uses your GPS location to accurately position property boundaries in augmented reality. Without location access, the AR features cannot function. Your location data is processed on-device and is not sent to our servers.

Can I use the app offline?

Yes! Once you've downloaded a property, you can view its boundaries offline. You'll need an internet connection to initially search for and purchase properties.

How do I share a property with someone else?

You can export any purchased property as a .parcel file and share it via text, email, or AirDrop. The recipient can import the file into their ParcelVision app to view the boundaries.

Can I transfer purchases to a new device?

Property purchases are stored locally on your device. If you get a new phone, you can export your properties as .parcel files and import them on the new device. Note: You cannot restore purchases through the App Store as each purchase is a one-time, consumable transaction.

Why can't I see the AR boundaries?

If boundaries aren't appearing in AR mode, try these steps:

  • Ensure location services are enabled for ParcelVision
  • Move to an open area with clear GPS signal
  • Wait a few seconds for GPS accuracy to improve
  • Make sure you're near the property you've purchased
  • Restart the app if issues persist

Is this a replacement for a land survey?

No. ParcelVision is a visualization tool for reference purposes only. It should never be used as a substitute for a professional land survey. For any legal matters, property disputes, construction, or official documentation, you must hire a licensed surveyor.

How do I request a refund?

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and follow Apple's refund process.
